2024 Medicare Supplement Plans

Worried about gaps in your Medicare coverage? Rest east, our Medicare Supplemental Insurance Plans are the solution!

If you are one of the many millions of baby boomers turning 65 soon, you may be considering a Medicare Supplement plan (Medigap) to help you with Medicare costs. Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) only covers 80% of most Medicare Costs. There are Medicare co- pays and co -insurance, for which you are still responsible. With many procedures costing tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars, 20% can add up fast, and if you are not ready, can wipe out a lot of your retirement savings.

That is where Medicare Supplement (Medigap)  comes in. Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) is an important component of your overall health plan because these policies are designed to fill in the gaps in your original Medicare coverage. This protects your nest-egg from unexpected big ticket medical services.

The Medicare Supplement Plan links below will provide more detailed information for each plan. If you want to figure out costs, the most accurate and fastest way is to fill out the form and speak to one of our licensed specialists who have helped thousands of seniors for decades.

What Medicare Pays For

Original Medicare Part A is hospital coverage that pays for:

  • Inpatient hospital services
  • Skilled nursing facility care (after a hospital stay)
  • Home health care
  • Hospice Care
  • All but the first 3 pints of blood you receive per calendar year

Original Medicare Part B is medical coverage and pays for:

  • Medical expenses
  • Home health care
  • Clinical laboratory services
  • Outpatient treatment
  • Durable medical equipment and supplies
  • Preventive health care including exams, screenings and shots

According to Medicare.gov, there are 10 standard Medicare supplement insurance plans – ABCDFGKLM and N and each offers different benefits that are set by the U.S. government.

All 10 Plans Offer These Basic Benefits

  • Part A coinsurance and hospital costs up to an additional 365 days after Medicare benefits are gone
  • Part B coinsurance or copayment
  • Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayment
  • The first 3 pints of blood

If you choose plans FKL or M, you’ll share a greater portion of the costs through higher coinsurance and copayment rates.  And like Medicare, Medicare supplement insurance generally doesn’t cover long-term care, vision care, dental care, hearing aids, eyeglasses or private-duty nursing.
